Make This Shot

For this shot, I place the cue ball one balls width off the long rail with its back edge even with the point of the corner pocket. Freeze the first object ball to it, lined up into the long rail about a diamond up, to allow for the throw. Hang the second object ball and try to hide most of it behind the point of the side pocket.

I aim at the cross corner pocket (diagonally) and hit about 3 or 3:30 with 80-85 degrees of elevation. You need to get enough top spin and right english to quickly get around the object ball. Watch how the first object ball throws. You may need to make some adjustments for it. Don't worry if you get unlucky and the cue ball gets in the way after pocketing the side ball. It happens.
