Chain Reaction Jump

Here's a cute little shot that Dr. Cue Tom Rossman used in ESPN Trick Shot Magic 2006. I call it the chain reaction jump. Lined up along the table are combinations of two balls, one on the slate and the second on a piece of chalk. At the start of the line, the cue ball is close to a blocker ball. I jump over the blocker ball and hit the first combination setting off a chain reaction that finally pockets the last ball in the corner.  Learn how!

The Glove's Squeeze Shot

I picked up this quirky shot from Gene "The Glove" Catron. Obviously, the combination is lined up towards the end rail. The cue ball hits the first ball which squeezes by the second ball into the corner pocket. Meanwhile, the second ball takes off going four rail around the table and into the same pocket.  Learn how!

Side Point 4 Railer

This shot is similar to the Side Point 2 Railer, except the cue ball goes a couple more rails around the table. I hit into the side pocket point and the cue ball runs 4 more rails to come back for the hanging ball in the corner pocket. I picked this shot up from Jason Lynch at the 2006 World Championships.  Learn how!

Triple Reverse

This is another Mike Massey creation. I first saw it in ESPN Trick Shot Magic 2003. The cue ball will hit the far short rail, the long rail and the near short rail. After hitting the third rail, it will reverse direction to pocket the hanging ball in the side pocket.  Learn how!

Circular Draw

This is one of the preeminent stroke shots today. After pocketing the first object ball, the cue ball will duck behind the blocking ball, pop back out off the rail, and draw back down the table to pocket the hanging ball in the near corner. Mike Massey hits this better than anyone now. However, this shot is often attributed to Cowboy Jimmy Moore, who would shoot this shot with a slip stroke.  Learn how!
