Circular Draw

This is one of the preeminent stroke shots today. After pocketing the first object ball, the cue ball will duck behind the blocking ball, pop back out off the rail, and draw back down the table to pocket the hanging ball in the near corner. Mike Massey hits this better than anyone now. However, this shot is often attributed to Cowboy Jimmy Moore, who would shoot this shot with a slip stroke.

I wish some of the more tricky shots like the "circular draw shot" could be put in slow motion so I could see exactly what is actually happening thru out the whole shot, so I get a complete understanding of the shot. Thank You.

On this shot, you hit it with a lot of draw, but because the cue ball is so close to the rail, your cue stick is angled down. This causes the cue ball to jump slightly off of the object ball, helping it keep enough spin as it comes off the rail.
