Tim's Twister
The balls in the cluster are all frozen together. The cue ball and one of the object balls are frozen to the rail as well. I usually split these two around the second diamond, but these can be adjusted depending on how strong or weak the throw is for the third ball in the cluster. |

My stick is parallel to the line between the centers of the cue ball and object ball that goes to the far corner, but with plenty of left. I probably elevate about 45 or 50 degrees, so my stick is aiming about where the far corner object ball is touching the cloth. Then just stroke it good to load up the spin. Try to get the cue ball to come off the first rail as close to the corner pocket as possible. I've never had the cue ball beat the object ball around the corner, nor have I ever been long on the last ball. Maybe my stroke is weak. |
