Rebound Masse
I use a five ball wall and freeze the first object ball to the rail at about a half diamond. It's a compromise between the distance needed to clear the wall and how far you need to reach out over the table while keeping a steady masse bridge and stroke. The cue ball is about a ball or ball-and-a-half widths away and in line from the first object ball. The hanging ball is not centered but is closer to the side you're shooting from. |
This doesn't require an extreme vertical masse, but 75 degrees should be fine. Aim straight in to the object ball or maybe just a bit to its right, depending on squirt/deflection. Hit the cue ball at 6:30 or 7:00. It doesn't need too much power, but don't be dainty. |
