Rebound Masse

Rebound Masse
I use a five ball wall and freeze the first object ball to the rail at about a half diamond. It's a compromise between the distance needed to clear the wall and how far you need to reach out over the table while keeping a steady masse bridge and stroke. The cue ball is about a ball or ball-and-a-half widths away and in line from the first object ball. The hanging ball is not centered but is closer to the side you're shooting from.
This doesn't require an extreme vertical masse, but 75 degrees should be fine. Aim straight in to the object ball or maybe just a bit to its right, depending on squirt/deflection. Hit the cue ball at 6:30 or 7:00. It doesn't need too much power, but don't be dainty.
