Stroke  Advanced

Here's a pretty variation of the 2mm draw shots. This was played by Nick Nikolaidis and Jamey Gray in Trick Shot Magic 2010. The 5 ball goes across the table into the corner while the cue ball whips back, avoiding the 8 ball, spins off of two rails, hits the rack and pockets the 1. Learn how!

Trick/Fancy  Advanced

All balls to the corner pocket! It's tough enough getting the 1, 2, and 3 to go into the same corner pocket, but the cue ball also draws back and catches the 5 ball as well. Learn how!

Jump  Advanced

This is one of Jamey 'Sharpshooter' Gray's signature shots. The cue ball is trapped inside a cell of balls and racks, but it's jumped straight over the walls and pockets the 1 ball in the opposite side pocket. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

I invented this jump-masse shot for the Ultimate Trick Shot Championships in 2009. The 5 ball is pocketed in the near corner while the cue ball jumps over the cue, then masse's back into the cue sinking the 3 ball in the side and rides up the rail to pot the 1 in the far corner. Learn how!

Bank/Kick  Advanced

This is one of Stefano Pelinga's crafty inventions. It might not look to fancy, but it'll give you fits if you try it. The cue ball kicks off the long rail, splitting the 5 in the side and the 1 down the rail into the corner. After caroming off the 5, the cue ball goes an additional three rails and pockets the 3 ball hanging in the corner pocket. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

This is another Stefano Pelinga shot I saw him perform on ESPN Trick Shot Magic 2005. The cue ball sinks the frozen object ball, masses into the long rail, banks out and masse's a second time around a wall of balls to knock in a second object ball in the opposite corner pocket. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

Here's a variation on the Poolhall Junkies timing shot. This time, I masse around the rack, catching the object ball as it rolls in front of the side pocket. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

This sneaky shot was invented by Sebastian Giumelli, but I took it all the way to the 2010 UTS Championship title. The cue ball is frozen between two object balls on the short rail. The object balls have coins balanced on top of them to prove they don't move. Seemingly impossible, the cue ball squeezes out from between the two balls, then masse's back to pocket the 3 ball in the corner pocket. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

Here's a prop masse shot. I masse into a vodka bottle, knocking in two balls, one of which is balanced on a shot glass on top of the bottle. The cue ball masses back up the table, hugging the rail to pocket a ball in the far corner pocket. This shot is one of Lukasz Szywala's creations. Special thanks to Jennifer, Jeremy, and Albert for emptying the vodka bottle for me. Learn how!

Masse  Advanced

Here's another masse shot. This time, the cue ball starts in a standard rack of balls as the second ball in the last row. The trick is masse-ing it out of the rack without hitting the end ball with your cue stick and getting the cue ball all the way down table to pocket the hanger. I think I first saw Sebastian Giumelli attempt this on ESPN Trick Shot Magic 2001. Learn how!
