This is a neat little tray shot I picked up watching Robert Byrne's trick shot videos. The cue ball goes 4 rails, kicks off the tray, then heads up to the side pocket and knocks in the hanging ball. Learn how!

This was the first trick shot I ever learned. I saw it when Charlie Darling pulled it out in Trick Shot Magic 2002. After pocketing the object ball the first time, as the cue ball goes around the table, I pull the object ball back out of the pocket and set it up to get knocked in again. Charlie added a bit extra by drinking a shot before the object ball got hit a second time. Learn how!

This is the shot Stefano Pelinga opened with in the 2000 Trick Shot Magic. With all of the balls frozen to the cushion, I bank the 3 ball backwards into the side pocket. This is a great example of spin transfer to the object ball. Learn how!

On this shot, I shoot the cue ball off the point of the side pocket, going another two rails and pocketing a ball in the corner. On Kimura's video, he shoots two cue balls back to back so you see a mirror image of the shot at the same time. I'm not that good yet. Learn how!

This is a "Spitball" Charlie Darling special that he pulled out in an early Trick Shot Magic tournament. The cue ball goes four rails, off the tray, and slides along the bottom rail to make the hanging ball in the corner. Learn how!

In addition to the classic Hustler bank shot, where the object ball frozen between the cue ball and the rail banks cross corner, the cue ball also runs three cushions to make an extra ball. I first saw this shot in Yoshikazu Kimura's video. Learn how!

Here's another shot using the ball tray as an extra rail. I send the cue ball around 3 rails, off the tray, and then over to make the hanging ball in the side pocket. I just came up with this shot when I was packing up at the end of a session and thought I'd try it to see if it worked. Lo and behold, it does! Learn how!

The object ball is frozen to the rail on the right side of the side pocket. It banks across the table to the left side of the table, then reverses back into the side pocket. I first saw this shot in Willie Joplin's video. Learn how!

This is a combination of a five rail kick with a rail compression shot. I saw this on Allen Hopkins' Tip of the Day on the 2008 World Cup of Trick Shots. The cue ball is trapped between the rail and a blocker ball with the target ball in the opposite corner. I shoot in to the cushion and get the cue ball to squeeze behind the blocker ball, then go an extra four rails to pocket the hanging ball. Learn how!

This is a classic shot with two balls stacked in the corner pocket. The cue ball pockets the bottom one, then goes around the table 3 rails and comes back to pocket the top one which has since dropped on to the table. Learn how!
