Tim "The Dragon" Chin

 

I'm Tim Chin, "The Dragon", a world-ranked artistic pool player, currently based in the Boston, MA area. I've been shooting trick shots since 2003 after seeing them on TV and figuring it was easier to get good at them rather than regular pool. In February 2005, I entered a qualifier and finished 2nd place. In March 2006, I placed 15th at the 2006 Masters tournament, coming in 2nd in the masse discipline and 5th in banks/kicks. I also performed an exhibition with Okinawa Slim and Eric Yow for Toys for Tots organized by Billiards for Benefits. I placed 3rd in Cuetable.com's 0607 shot contest (July 2006) featuring 3 rail bank shots and 2nd in Cuetable.com's 0608 shot contest featuring shots from one of the greatest 9 ball matches ever.

 

I spend my free time with all things soccer, biking, and pursuing a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
