Tom Rossman opened the final in typical fashion, with a simple shot practically guaranteeing himself a point. The cue ball is trapped between the rail and the 9 ball, and the 8 ball is frozen to the 9 ball, just up table. The cue ball is shot into the rail and kicks the 8 ball into the opposite side pocket, flipping a bag over on the way. Predictably, Rossman was able to make the shot. Pelinga didn't have any issues with it either though.

Stefano Pelinga's first challenge was also fairly simple. The cue ball and object ball start near the ends of a tube. The cue ball pockets that object ball, then draws back through the tube, coming out, and pockets another hanging object ball in the corner pocket. Pelinga easily made the shot, but Rossman couldn't quite get his draw stroke working in the tube, spotting Pelinga an early lead.

Trying to even up the score again, Rossman chose this off-the-rail shot. The cue ball starts on the rail, pops off to split a combination by the side pocket, weaving between some glasses on the way, then travels three rail to pocket a final hanging ball in the corner pocket. Unfortunately for Rossman, he couldn't quite get the shot to go this time around. Pelinga stepped up and showed no hesitancy though in making the shot and stretching his lead to two points.

Further trying to extend his lead, Pelinga picked a one-handed jump-curve shot. The cue ball jumps over a row of cups, curves around a wall of blocker balls, and pockets the combination in the corner pocket. Surprising since he's not really one for one-handed jump shots, but Pelinga made it with ease. Rossman strode up to the table and confidently followed suit though, keeping pace.

Rossman decided to play a variant of Just Showing Off next. After making the usual cluster, the cue ball comes off three rails and pushes a rack into a shaft propped up on a rolling bridge head. The cue tip ends up knocking a ball off a piece of chalk and into the corner pocket. Rossman made the shot, picking up a point. Although the standard shot's a classic, Pelinga couldn't figure out this version and his lead was back to one.

Not one to panic, Pelinga played it cool and picked the Vertical Jump Masse. The cue ball is jumped out of a rack, then masses back along the long rail and pockets a ball hanging in the near corner pocket, possibly with the help of the rack. It didn't take Pelinga long to flex his muscle and make the shot. Rossman clearly had difficulty, unable to even clear the rack.

Rossman turned to another specialty of his, this one the Wing Shot Combination. Here, two balls are rolled down the table and, while they're moving, the cue ball is fired in to the first one to combo the second one in the corner pocket. Blink and you'll miss it, but Rossman fired it home. Pelinga got his luck rolling with it too, making his attempt and keeping some distance between him and his opponent.

Pelinga challenged back with this curious looking stacked ball draw shot. With two balls stacked on top of each other near the corner, the cue ball pockets both of them and then draws back the length of the table to pocket the combination hanging in the other corner. Surprisingly, Pelinga couldn't pull the shot off, but Rossman figured out the trick and pulled back a point.

Recognizing Rossman's weakness on jump-masses, Pelinga pulled out the Jump Rainbow Masse. The cue ball jumps out of the rack and makes a sweeping arc around a wall of balls at the center of the table to pocket a combination at the other end. Riding his confidence, Pelinga nailed the shot. Again, Rossman had difficulty even jumping the cue ball out of the rack and the lead returned to two.

Pelinga pulled out another masse shot for his next challenge. This one was a little simpler, pocketing a ball in the corner, then having the cue ball rocket up the short rail knocking over some bowling pins and pocketing another ball in the corner pocket. Again, Pelinga demonstrated his expertise, making the shot. Rossman showed a little more comfort with this shot, but got unlucky as he left one pin standing and fell behind by three.

Rossman #7   Rossman - 6  Pelinga - 9

Rossman came back with this interesting basketball shot. A pyramid of four balls is stacked on the table and the cue ball hits the bottom of the stack, launching the top ball into the basketball hoop! Rossman hit the shot, banking the ball in the hoop. Pelinga, obviously unfamiliar with the shot, launched his first attempt clear off the table! He was able to regroup however and calibrated his speed nicely to make his second attempt and keep his lead at three.

Pelinga #7   Rossman - 10  Pelinga - 6

Pelinga chose this interesting cluster shot, just trying to keep scoring points. Three balls are frozen in a triangle near the center of the table, one of which has a coin balanced on it. The cue ball hits the cluster, pocketing one of the balls and knocking the coin off the other ball. Pelinga made the shot, keeping the pressure on Rossman. Rossman tried his best, but barely missed and found himself behind by 4.

Rossman #8   Rossman - 7  Pelinga - 11

Trying to get back in to it, Rossman pulled out some big balls for his next shot. The cue ball hits one of the smaller of the big balls and rebounds back in the side pocket. The big ball follows the cue ball after rebounding off an even bigger ball. The bigger ball rolls forward and pushes another big ball into the opposite side pocket. Rossman made the shot, but Pelinga was able to pull it off as well, keeping his lead at 4.

Pelinga #8   Rossman - 8  Pelinga - 11

Again with the tube, Pelinga chose this classic draw shot. The cue ball gets shot through the tube, splitting the cluster into their respective pockets, then draws back through the tube, coming out the back and pocketing a ball in the corner. Pelinga surprisingly missed though, leaving and opening for Rossman. Rossman seized the opportunity and made the shot, pulling back within 3.

Rossman went for a speed-type of shot for his next challenge, the 3, 2, 1 -- 1, 2, 3 shot. The three ball is hit first, followed by the two, and then the one. Each of them find the same corner pocket, but in the reverse order in which they were struck, so one, two, and then the three. Rossman was unable to make the shot though, giving Pelinga the chance to seal the match. Pelinga didn't let the opportunity pass him by, nailing the shot and picking up his second Trick Shot Magic title.
